This is a barn burner with a story. It started out as a graduate arranging project for Saxsmo while working on his masters at North Carolina Central University under Brandford Marsalis and Dr. Ira Wiggins. It grew to be a recording with some of the finest musicians on the East Coast participating. Faculty members from NCCU and Virginia State University, exceptional graduate students from NCCU and the 804 Jazz Allstars.
